Can I use USB 2.0 or IEEE 1394 (FireWire®) Devices with BootIt BM?

Yes. BootIt BM includes support for USB 2.0 and IEEE 1394a/1394b (i.e. FireWire®) drives.

Please note that to use a USB 2.0 or IEEE 1394 device, you must first enable the applicable option in BootIt BM's settings. To enable USB 2.0 support, select the USB 2.0 Support option. To enable IEEE 1394 support, select the IEEE1394 Support option. With those settings enabled, the USB 2.0 and/or IEEE 1394 drives will be available when you select the appropriate type using the Bus drop-down box in Partition Work.

If the USB 2.0 Support and IEEE1394 Support options are not enabled, you may still be able to work with these drives if the BIOS provides access.
