What is Image for Windows?

Image for Windows (IFW) is a program for creating and restoring images of partitions. It offers all the conveniences and advantages of running from within the Windows environment. IFW runs under all versions of Win9x/Me, WinNT/2K/XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7/8.x/10.

Every purchase of IFW also includes a copy of Image for DOS (IFD) and Image for Linux (IFL).

IFW can be run:

  • Interactively, using simple wizard-driven options
  • From the command line
  • From batch files
